Supporting Officials in Their Toughest Battles
Established by members of UMPS Baseball Training, this foundation was inspired by the journey of fellow umpire Dave Pluda, who courageously faced Stage IV colon cancer. Founders Jeff Siegel and Bob Ciulla created UMPS Strikes Out Cancer to assist not only Dave but the many others who may face similar struggles in the future.

Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to ensure that no amateur sports official faces these challenges alone. We offer direct financial assistance and can organize local fundraisers for individuals in the Chicagoland area, rallying communities to support those in need.
